Department of Marathi
The Department of Marathi offers undergraduate programmes in Marathi. The Department is actively engaged in teaching, learning, and evaluation programmes.
Presently, three faculty members are working in the Department. They actively participate in curricular, co-curricular, and research activities.
Academic and Co-curricular Activities
During the academic year 2025–26, the Department of Marathi organized and celebrated various important literary and cultural events:
Birth Anniversary of Shahir Annabhau Sathe – 1 August 2025
Birth Anniversary of Chakradhar Swami – 5 September 2025
Marathi Language Day – 28 February 2026
Marathi Language Conservation Programme – 14 January to 28 January 2026
Through these activities, the Department aims to promote Marathi language, literature, cultural heritage, and awareness among students.
