Department of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry of Madhavrao Patil Arts, Commerce and Science College is established in 2004. The chemistry department running the undergraduate course in Chemistry subject for B.Sc. students. The faculty of chemistry department actively engaging students in teaching, seminars, laboratory practical and educational tours etc.  The department always dedicated to promote the students for the participation in competitive exams such as JAM/NET/SET/GATE/MPSC. With these efforts, in last several years the some of students qualified for this examination. The some of students were placed and joined the R & D division/quality control division of various pharmaceuticals. The department is well known for their high-quality research papers which is published in Scopus, Pub Med, CAS and Web Science journals. Recently the faculty of the department actively participated in national conference on “Emerging Trends in Basic Sciences” organized by college in 2023. The mission of department is to enhance our status as an outstanding teaching centre which is recognized for its quality teaching, innovative research to promote and attracts the best students.
