Programmes of NSS unit of the institute are categorized into two main groups:  regular activities and special camp.  Student commences various programmes in the adapted villages, college campus and surrounding areas after the college hours. Duration of the special camp is seven days. NSS volunteers who have participated in NSS must complete 120 hours of social work in the adopted village, college campus and surrounding areas after the college hours. It includes vaccination, guidance about AIDS, free checking of blood group about, blood–donation camp, tree-plantation, village cleaning, literacy programme, National integration, Conservation of Jambhul Bet etc.
