Department of Political Science

Madhavrao Patil Arts, Commerce and Science College, Palam, District Parbhani, was established in 1993. Since its establishment, the Department of Political Science has been imparting education and promoting social awareness and activism among students.

The Department organizes various academic and social activities, including conferences, seminars, debates, and other programmes, to enrich students’ knowledge and develop their critical thinking, communication, and analytical skills.

In accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the undergraduate Political Science programme was introduced from the academic year 2024–25.

• Debate competitions

These activities aim to develop social responsibility, democratic awareness, critical thinking, and active citizenship among students.
