Madhavrao Patil College, Palam was started with Arts & Commerce Faculty in 1993-94 and Science Faculty in 2004-05. The key aim of the college is ‘to make students perfect for the nation building, achieve academic excellence, and promote research for a better society’. A variety of curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities are conducted aiming at overall increase of our students. As one of the promising pastoral institutes of higher learning, the college activities to the resourceful development of students in academic and socio-cultural fields. More than five thousand students received higher education in past 30 years through this college with different stream. College has made tremendous effects to provide knowledge, research methods and skills education to students from this area helping them to achieve success in their lives

All the teaching faculties in the college are highly qualified and their knowledge and experience is useful to the students and society. The college’s cultural and NSS department and the arts, science and commerce department strive not only to complete their academic programs but also promote the mental and of physical development of the students. The outcome of these hard work and efforts of experienced faculties, the college has been able to produce skilled and knowledgeable students.
